A Whole-Child Approach to Pediatric Constipation

Why Most Constipation

Plans Fall Short...

Many approaches focus solely on medications and supplements.

But constipation often involves multiple factors:

  • Food Triggers & Nutrition: Certain foods can contribute to inflammation, digestive discomfort, and slowed bowel movements in susceptible children.

  • Food as Medicine is Overlooked: Food directly influences gut motility, stool consistency, and the body’s ability to eliminate waste.

  • Gut Microbiome Imbalances: The bacteria living in your child's gut play a major role in digestion, stool consistency, and intestinal motility.

  • Pelvic Floor Dysfunction: Your child cannot fully empty their bowels if the muscles responsible for releasing stool are not relaxing properly.

  • Relearning Healthy Bowel Patterns: The body needs structured support to restore regular bowel movements after chronic constipation.

Hi, I'm Clare!

I feel so much genuine gratitude each day to raise my son from an empowered place when it comes to his health and I want every parent to feel this, too. Health is ultimately the greatest gift we have and the most meaningful one we can give to our children.

I believe food is medicine, our most natural and powerful way to support our children across their lifespan. Yet somewhere along the way, we’ve drifted from the simplicity and wisdom of true nourishment.

Through Wholesome Littles, my mission is to help parents reconnect to this truth, to remember the healing power of real food and the incredible influence they hold in shaping lifelong wellness for their little ones.

Thank you, truly, for being here and for trusting me to be part of your family’s health journey.

Love, Clare
